Santa Claus is done with Christmas. No more gifts, no more carols, no more cheer. While on his final sweep of the globe, Saint Nick befriends Laura, a young trans woman just coming to terms with her identity. Santa hides while Laura struggles to been seen as they search for the thing between selfish and selfless.

If this were the last day of your life, how would you spend it? Sam is stuck in the middle-of-nowhere with a middle-of-nowhere job as an ice cream man. While he grapples with the idea of leaving his hoarder father behind to start a new life, he receives news that sets his world ablaze.

 

And of course, we have to start the season with a party! Join us at The Foxhole (2444 W Montrose) on November 9 for The Second Annual MERCY STREET AFFAIR! Our signature shindig will once again feature a fresh batch of short plays from the residents of Mercy Street, followed by live jazz, craft cocktails, and pastries. Don't miss it!
